Limitless opportunities to improve your language skills
Learning English is not just about having your nose buried in a book or attending lessons.
There are limitless opportunities to improve your language skills all around you.
When taking a bus or train for example, you can review your knowledge of vocabulary by thinking about how to describe a fellow passenger.
What do they look like? What are they wearing? To practice linking ideas together, what about making up a little story about one of the passengers? Who is he? Where is he going? Why is he going there? What’s in the box he’s carrying?
I’m sure you’ve got the idea. And to help improve how quickly you can think in English, just look out the window and try to describe what you can see as it passes by.
There’s always something interesting and fun you can do to practice English no matter what your level or where you might be.
